1) I think these first two photos portray pattern really well, they are both fairly similar the first one being windows on a building and the second one is of course a chess board they both have repetitions of one component.

2) This third image is a great example of pattern as it takes a symbol, three arrows in a triangle and repeating it lots.

3) These last three images are all examples of patterns found in nature, I think all of them are nice photos and have great patterns.  The snake skin is a pattern of scales but then the scales themselves make up a bigger pattern.  I think the first one is really cool as it is four spirals made from leaves.

1) This photo shows obvious pattern of both the squares and the colour of the squares.

Pattern - Work Diary

For this when I went out to take photos I looked at things like paved floors and buildings as they usually have a man-made pattern in them, I also looked at patterns within nature like flowers and leaves, the grain in wood.  Another thing I look at was parts of cars like headlights and radiator covers.

I think this photo portrays pattern well as the entire window section including the colours along the bottom is repeated.

This one contains obvious pattern of repeated triangles arrange into columns of alternate alignment.

If I was to go out and shoot pattern again I would look more at patterns in nature, things like flowers and snake/lizard skin.
